Kristin Lutcher Bracken grew up in Newtown, Bucks County and started her riding career at age 6. She showed locally for several years before advancing to the national circuit.

Kristin had the opportunity to ride with several well known hunter/jumper trainers in the tri-state area as a junior. She qualified for the national pony finals in 1990 in the Large Pony Hunters. After a successful career in the Children’s Hunters she moved on to the Junior Hunters in 1993.

Kristin met Casey and Denise at a horse show while showing with Casey as a junior. They became friends and the O’Connors became a second family to Kristin.  
 

One of her passions includes training and developing young horses. She broke and trained several two year olds and earned top ribbons in the Baby Green Division at HITS Ocala, Vermont, and Blue Rock. When working with young horses, she believes in ground work, positive reinforcement and keeping things simple.

 Kristin received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, PA and went on to work for Denise O’Connor at Banbury Cross as a trainer and rider. She has been there since 2001 and she currently lives in Lancaster, PA with her husband Mike and their dog, Colby.
